In February of 2025 San Antonio Alternative Housing welcomed in a new owner’s representative to consult on ongoing construction projects on behalf of the company.
Jerry Schmitz, owner of San Antonio Construction Management Services (SATXCMS) has been in the construction industry for over 25 years. Since February, he has used this extensive knowledge in the industry to take on the task of overseeing the El Paso-Memorial Housing Project for SAAHC, which will bring a complex of 30 brand new affordable apartment units to San Antonio’s Westside and include a community center on property. The Memorial Apartments are expected to be completed by late Fall of 2025.
Schmitz is also leading other projects for SAAHC, to include multiple rehabilitation projects at SAAHC-owned single-family homes and apartment complexes.
